Should I Start a Family?

                I think it is kind of hard to overstate the importance that a father has in his kids’ lives. If we look in the scriptures, fathers were essential even from the very beginning. Throughout time society’s view of a father has changed, but God’s plan and expectations for a father has always been the same. In class this week we talked quite a bit about fathers, as well as some of the blessings we see in our lives of having families. Today I am going to talk about the role of fathers, as well as some of these blessings.                 In the proclamation to the family, it talks about how a father’s main role is to provide for his family. Parenting

            It is a sad thing to see, but in today’s society being a parent is just not the priority that it once was. People are more worried about traveling the world, having careers, or other things that kids might get in the way of. Everyone just puts it off, and says that they might have kids later, and they might not. Sadly, when they have this mentality a lot of the time it never ends up happening. When this happens, they miss out of the amazing experience that it is to have children, and that family unit.
